Simple to learn in 5 minutes. Impossible to master in a lifetime.
The game is played on a 5×5 grid (25 nodes) connected by horizontal, vertical, and diagonal lines. Each player starts with 12 stones. White occupies the top rows, Black the bottom rows — with only the center node left empty at the start.
On your turn, slide one stone to an adjacent empty node directly connected by a visible line. You may only move along the board lines — horizontal, vertical, or specific diagonals only.
To capture, jump over an adjacent enemy stone in a straight line, landing on the empty node beyond it. The captured stone is removed permanently. The path must be: Your Stone → Enemy → Empty Node.
If after capturing, your stone can immediately capture ANOTHER enemy stone from its new position, you MUST do so. Chain captures are mandatory and can devastate your opponent in a single turn.
You win by capturing ALL 12 of your opponent's stones, leaving them with nothing. Alternatively, you win if your opponent is completely blocked with no legal moves available on their turn.
Control the center of the board for maximum mobility. Always scan for chain capture opportunities — both yours and your opponent's. Force your opponent toward the corners where they have fewer escape routes.
